I am having trouble with the game tutorial number 5. It runs fine on my home computer, but on my laptop no music is heard. Then, when I exit, I get a "close", "debug", "details" messagebox. Does anyone know why this might be? Thanks Paul

that sounds like a windows error message box...
perhaps there is a hardware incompatibility or something.
i haven't read that tutorial so i'll do it now and then i might be able to help you more.

Perhaps you don't have directx 8 on your laptop?
i'm just guessing since the tutorial seems to be on DirectX Audio

In my recent experiments, I have deduced that: DIRECTAUDIO SUCKS! For anyone having problems, I must strongly suggest www.openal.org. I have heard really good things about it... Plus, DirectAudio is evil.
