Just derping around with my dead charger

Derp.

Some few days a go, my charger to my precious laptop (ASUS G74SX... Precious!), suddenly decided to hate me, and hang it-self. Though i was playing, I didn't notice but when I found out (My fps was dropping because of some battery saving thing) that I didn't get any power, I realized that it was dead, the charger I mean.

After realizing it, I quickly made a new backup of my files, and then sat down for 15 minutes thinking, how? why? It could be because of a new NVIDIA driver (Just installed it, and after a few hours, this happened), could it?

So... What would you do now, other than ordering a new charger?

One charger I had that died, I found that if I unplugged it from the wall for a day, occasionally it'd come back alive and work for another few weeks.

Bad capacitor, burned out windings, other electrical component burned out ... hard to tell with out ripping it apart and testing with a multimeter .

What would you do now, other than ordering a new charger?

Watch some movies, hang out with friends, take walks on the beach (I live near one), while I wait for the new charger to come in the mail. Do work on the desktop, check email on the phone.
