Flight Rising is what I've been playing every spare minute for the last week, and they just finished adding a server so they actually have the capacity for more players to join, so I thought I'd promote the game here a bit. I am not affiliated with the staff at all, and while you are welcome to name me as your referrer, I don't think there's actually a referrer-rewards program in place yet, so it doesn't really matter. Part of the reason I'm so excited about this game is that it was successfully kickstarted and pretty much by-fans-for-fans (of the pet monster breeding/fighting genre). Another part of the reason is that it actually has a combat system which is not Pokemon inspired, but instead a 3-man turn-based elemental system rather like Final Fantasy 6 or 7. Yet another reason is that this is a free to play game where you can easily buy the cash shop currency within the game for game currency, and this contributes to a very active and thriving auction house and sales forum(s). And there are minigames, I love minigames. But mainly it's the gorgeous dragons. 
And I wanted to show mine off. Anyone who actually makes an account and plays is welcome to PM me with any questions about how to play or how to earn money in the game, etc.
This is my free starter dragon that you get to pick the breed (Fae) and colors for, plus I applied one gene scroll afterward to add the clown spots.
Another of the basic breeds that you can create as your starter if you want, this Guardian has two gene scrolls applied for the tiger stripes and wing eyespots. It has a rose equipped - you can dress up your dragons of you like, though I mostly haven't bothered yet.
This is a baby of the current rarest breed in the game, Imperial - it was a kickstarter reward so now new ones can only be bred, not created. This one was bred, including the two iridescent/shimmer genes it has, and I got it as a trade.
My other rare breed, the adorkable turtle-inspired Snapper. I created this one by using a breed change scroll on a starter breed dragon.
This kind of unfortunate-colored guy was my other free starter; you get to pick one's look and the other is random, this being the random one. But the lion/gargoyle look of the Tundra breed is pretty cool.
