Reddit played a prank that they'd bought Team Fortress 2, and modded their website so that members could add hats to posts, collect items, and use items on other posts, which had such effects as: garbling posts, making the font huge or tiny, randomly adding "-*hic*-" so it looked like the poster was drunk. Every member was divided into red and blue teams, and they counted score across the entire website, I believe blue team won. I found it hilarious, even though it made the popular threads unreadable due to the posts being completely mangled by items :)
For you voters: modified poll to multiple choice as there are quite a few pranks listed now :)
">swiftkey's new typing system is worth a laugh. There was just a new typing system on kickstarter that you could operate by tilt. I can't remember what it was called though. That was before april fools.
