Hi, i don't know if many of you have noticed, but microsoft really have a bad habit of removing usefull feature, in everything it does, for no apparent reason. One of the things i loved the most with VS6 was the right mouse button drag n drop shorcut you could use to copy or move text around. That alone saved me LOT of clicks, now instead of 1 click, i have to click 2-4 times to do the same thing, and it take longer too.

Is there a way to bring that feature back?

You can still highlight text and drag it with the mouse. Just highlight and drag. They haven't removed it.

Yes, but the copy option is gone :(, shame on MS, it really saved me a lot of time and mouse clicks

It is also still there. Hold down the... um...shift or alt or ctrl, can't remember right now, key. Hold it down and drag/drop will have a little + sign next to it, it makes a copy.

ctrl+c, ctrl+v, and ctrl+x.

three keyboard shortcuts any person whom does a lot of text editing should know by heart.

Check out https://www.facebook.com/LiquidGames for some great games made by me on the Playstation Mobile market.

I don't think he's looking for the shortcuts.

But yeah, I believe ctrl+drag'n'drop should do it. In fact it's pretty much the norm for drag'n'drop, e.g. with files that's exactly how it works (just drag to move, ctrl+drag to copy).

Don't pay much attention to "the hedgehog" in my nick, it's just because "Sik" was already taken =/ By the way, Sik is pronounced like seek, not like sick.
