Hey, I don''t know squat about music & notes, and I wanna start doing some on my computer. I don''t know squat about the various programs available also.
Could anybody tell me where to start, how, wich programs, ect?.... (you can also e-mail me(baltazar_d@hotmail.com) to tell me where to get them, since this post is prolly warez-free)

first off: general forum rule: no piracy/warez stuff
that being said:
Try to learn an instrument, or about music first. Second off you might want to grab the demo version of cakewalk (ummn, search for it on google.com). This peice of software makes the transition quite easy, because it has a very easy to use staff view, that makes it almost like wrighting stuff on a real staff.
See what other programs you can find, but as I said before, if you don''t know much about music, see about learning some stuff.

Sorry I wasn''t trying to advocate to the use of pirated software. I thought jellocaca wanted to know what music software were available for sell on the market. I didn''t really read the part about the warez and email address. Also the sites I have listed are not pirate site they are indeed the original creators of the software.
If anything I just promote software for free on behave of Steinberg, Sounic Foundary and Image-Line Software.
Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Andrew was referring to jellocaca when he mentioned the piracy rules, not you. You inadvertantely misunderstood when you replied to a post you inadvertantely misunderstood .
