Hi Gamedev,

I've been trying to build a game creation sandbox and it'd be awesome to get people's feedback and comments for future directions. It's in a very basic state right now, I made two videos showing its usage:

">

">

It's scriptable using AngelScript and runs Bullet physics for dynamics simulation and collision detection. Rendering is very basic right now but I'll be moving the rendering code from my other projects ( sample:

">
) and adding audio support. It supports asset loading using Open Asset Import for 3D assets and OS X built-in loading for images, which seem to support a wide range of file formats.

What do you think I should add? Remove? Change? What's the minimum feature set that would get you using it? What demos can I create that would convince someone to try it?

Holy crap I started a blog - http://unobvious.typepad.com/

An MMORPG, an RTS, a scrolling game, an FPS, Klondike solitaire, a falling blocks game, and a matching gems game. Some of them should work on iOS, some on Android, some in Flash, and some on Xbox3.

Would you like a unicorn with that?

A unicorn game, sure. You asked what would convince people to use your game creation engine sandbox. My list would be assured of doing that, would it not?
