Second day of learning audio programming.

i was wondering how to add a reverb effect to my sound, and other effect like flang chorus.get no idea how it works.

actually i'm lacking of the theory.is there some books or topics teaching such kind of thing?

not just tell you how to code the effect, more import, talk about more how it works and why.
Here's a pretty decent book:

The theory and mathematics behind digital audio effects is actually quite complex. Roughly 3rd year college math to really understand it correctly. So if you've got a pretty good engineering math background, I say "go for it!".

For further search, you can use the keyword "audio DSP". DSP usually stands for "Digital Signal Processing".
cool,guess that's what i want.thank you.biggrin.png
Aren't there any standardized programming libraries for sound effects and sound processing yet? Do the major operating system game libraries offer APIs for processing sound or is it all just playback and effects?
