I think I'm like that more often than not, actually[font=arial, sans-serif][size=1]—[/font]getting super into a game the first time I play it, and then enjoying it a little bit less each subsequent time I pick up the controller. Most recently I've experienced that with Fable III; during the first hour, I was ready to proclaim it as everything I've always wanted an action RPG to be; now I have to stifle a yawn whenever I even think about playing it again.
I think that's why I tend to prefer shorter, two- to three-hour long games[font=arial, sans-serif][size=1]—[/font]there's less of an opportunity for the developer to include filler just to reach some arbitrary time limit, and there's less opportunity for me to get bored and want something different.
