I think I'm like that more often than not, actually—getting super into a game the first time I play it, and then enjoying it a little bit less each subsequent time I pick up the controller. Most recently I've experienced that with Fable III; during the first hour, I was ready to proclaim it as everything I've always wanted an action RPG to be; now I have to stifle a yawn whenever I even think about playing it again.

I think that's why I tend to prefer shorter, two- to three-hour long games—there's less of an opportunity for the developer to include filler just to reach some arbitrary time limit, and there's less opportunity for me to get bored and want something different.

I remember playing this game for the N64, Turok Dinosaur Hunter.

I remember that after 30 minutes of play my eyes felt like they were being broiled for some king in the Middle East to eat.

Good luck.
