am i the only one who thinks zynga ought to port its games away from flash?

flash is too unreliable.

But I agree with flash being unreliable. I've never seen the point of it and I've always hated sites that uses it. I don't want to wait a minute for the site to load when it could take one second! As for games, making it depend on a connection is always bad, and flash really promote throw-away games that literally has 15minutes of fame. I've played some good flash games I'm sure, but I can't recall which they were. That should say something.

What do you find so great about zynga's games that you wish them to proliferate onto other platforms? There's no skill involved, no strategy, no engagement beyond sucking your friends into it to make synchronized clicks on stuff on the screen..

flash is basically a substitute for java applets - one heap of rubbish replacing another.

zynga's games have some interesting artwork. that's probably the only redeeming quality i can think of off hand.

as for flash gordon, the topic would pertain if your name was gordon. it's not my fault your parents didn't name you gordon.
