Any decent free online virtual workspaces for small teams?

Greetings,

I have a small development team ( < 6 people ), and some of us are working remotely. It would be great to have a virtual workspace set up where we could collect some data and collaborate. Are there any great and free solutions out there (other than, say, a shared Google Drive), that provide such features? I've been looking around online a bit but I thought I would ask in case there are obvious solutions that work great. I'm new to the management side of things. One thing I'm concerned a bit about is copyright. I heard that having stuff on Google basically gives them rights to it--but I honestly don't know how that all works. Do you guys have any input?

Thanks,
Zach.

This may provide you some insight into what you have been hearing -- but take into account if you have any real concerns about copyright - consult an appropriately qualified lawyer.

The workspace topic belongs here in Production & Management, but the copyright discussion does not.
The copyright discussion needs to be discussed in Business & Law.

Thanks for the help. Sorry I didn't look closely enough at previous posts.
