Is there any media player that lets you bookmark a video?

What I mean is, if I'm watching a movie and I'm an hour in the movie, then I want to bookmark it at that time and exit. Next time I open up the media player and load the movie it should start exactly where I placed the bookmark.

So does anyone know if any media player has that feature? Just so you know, I have a Win 7 PC.

Media Player Classic - Home Cinema is about the best free media player for Windows and supports this feature - see the "Favourites" menu.

Media Player Classic is a DirectShow-based player so will play anything you have a filter for; if you don't already have one, you'll likely need a codec pack. I find CCCP works well these days.

Fwiw, Netflix instant streaming automatically remembers your location for when you resume.
It also, if going through a TV series, remembers what episode you are on now.
