GD's Hobbyist Projects Success Stories

Hi everyone.
I've been into GD's Hobbyist Projects adverts for a while, I got into some teams and projects, but all went nowhere. I was wondering, do any of you guys have success stories/shipped a game/built a good team/etc with GD's hobbyist ads?
The classifieds section is still very new, but prior to that we used a simple forum called "Help Wanted", and there were/are certainly some successful projects from there.

Reactor Interactive's Sector 13 was a very successful demo and landed the founding team members industry jobs -- apparently they've recently decided to go back and make a complete Sector 13 game!

FIFE (The Flexible Isometric Fallout-like Engine) is an on-going open source project, initially to produce an engine compatible with the original fallout assets, but which has since expanded to a more general isometric engine.

Hero of Allacrost is also an on-going open source project, to produce an old-school styled RPG. The team have had a number of releases.

TREBL2 is a fun little rhythm game that advertised in HW.

Jooleem is a fun little open source puzzle/arcade/matching game.

...and I'm sure there have been others, but specific examples escape me just at this moment, perhaps some other members may remember.

Whoa, that's already more than I expected happy.png. And yes, I've been there when it was just a forum. I like the new section more, the lack of bumping is great.
The new classifieds still needs more work, but I think we're moving in the right direction to improve upon the old forum-based system.

We're looking at some UI improvements (particularly when submitting ads) and providing some good documentation, but any other suggestions are also welcome!
