So I loved all the previous Max Payne games and am really looking forward to the new one.

I have started playing games on my console more and more, although I come from a heavy PC gaming background.

My problem is that I cant decide whether to buy the game for PC (better graphics?) or my PS3 (couch comfort?)!

What do you guys think?
I'm not. It doesn't look like it is a Max Payne game. It looks like a generic shooter that they then slapped "Max Payne" onto the label and said "Sell it!" or maybe it was more like "Hey guys, look! We made a shooter!" "Ooh, what should we call it?" "Hmm, what IP haven't we raped in a while?" "Great! Max Payne it is!"

Honestly, the thing with the whole Max Payne thing was the grittiness, the kind of 1970s-1980s gangster comic style interludes, and things like that. This looks like it has none of that.

In time the project grows, the ignorance of its devs it shows, with many a convoluted function, it plunges into deep compunction, the price of failure is high, Washu's mirth is nigh.

I found it's gunfight gameplay to be quite iconic for me, and they seem to have kept that core very intact.
To address the OP, for me it comes down to control method. I hate playing shooters with a console controller, (almost as much as I hate playing fighting games, platformers, etc with a keyboard and mouse) so it'd be PC for me.
if you think programming is like sex, you probably haven't done much of either.-------------- - capn_midnight

[background=rgb(250, 251, 252)]the 1970s-1980s gangster comic style was great and of course the overall atmosphere. It was not a big shooter, but a great story. I'll tell you more when I'll play the new Max Payne.[/background]
