I'm attending university here in Sweden but I just noticed I can't include two of the courses in the program (Computer Networks, Network Security) because I lack the later Math prerequisite from College - and now I'm worried it'll make a too big impact on my degree if I can't include the Network courses.
I can study Math over the summer to complete the requirement but I've tried that particular course before and failed.
The program includes:
- Introduction for several programming languages
- Object-oriented programming in C++
- Programming of Web applications
- Java for C++ programmers
- Databases, modelling and implementation
- Java for mobile units
- Webprogramming
- Application development for Android
- [s]Computer Networks[/s]
- [s]Network security[/s]
- XML
- Artificial Intelligense for agents
- Designpatterns in C++
- Java-enterprise development with the J2EE-standard
- Methods and tools in software development
So I'll be missing two of them.
What do you think? Am I screwed? There are no other network related courses in the program and I really enjoy Network security, especially the higher level details in applications.
Thanks for any input you can give me.
