- Really nice article on Gamasutra by Mark Kilborn, Audio Director at Raven Software, on management.
Beware, not dead this thread is yet! (/yodaspeech)
I'm currently taking part in a six-week online course on Songwriting by the Berklee College of Music that is FREE. The course focus is on the technical aspects of songwriting (prosody, rhyme scheme, etc.). You can join the course and look at the material and learn at your very own pace, as the material will still be available after the course has finished. If you want to get a certificate, you can do the assignments in the course, but you don't have to do that. https://class.coursera.org/songwriting-007
In the course, we were given a link to this free PDF on songwriting, also by the Berklee College of Music: https://welcome.online.berklee.edu/coursera-songwriting-handbook.html?pid=6179
Some very recent neuroscience and psychology behind inspiration and creativity: A great article by my professor in another course that, while the main focus in the article is not on that, highlights that we can only be inspired and creative when we feel positive emotions along with some other implications. http://journal.frontiersin.org/Journal/10.3389/fnhum.2014.00114/abstract
Cheers,
Chris
PS:
I'll do my best over the next few weeks or so to take all of your suggestions and links into consideration then clean out and replace many of these outdated and old pinned topics and replace them with brand new, shiny ones!
Yay, new shiny stickies coming soon!(????? :D)
