No. It just that I been involved in enough forum involving enough topic, to know that when a group is involved (ms vs apple, android vs ios, left vs right, politics group), group think happened more frequently than factual thinking.

The saddest part of the story is that I only knew about President Allende only recently. Maybe it was less talked about compared to, for example, Bay of Pigs is because US failed there, but in President Allende case - it was replaced with a dictator.

So I'm sure even the Iranians even noticed this but, the burqa makes the transition to a ninja outfit extremely easy. IMO male pirates are helpless against female ninjas - they'll just woo the pirates and the battle will be lost even before it begins. That's why the safest solution is to go mech on their asses: bring in these guys or, better yet - THIS.

Yes, they have ninjas. This is a country with people that, despite the oppressive regime and internal struggle for human rights, cares deeply about their freedom from foreign influence, and will fight tooth and nail in the street to protect that. Certainly won't be a picnic to invade.

If anybody care to read their history books (maybe censored in the US?), outside interference is exactly what caused this conflict in the first place. The Iranian revolution of '79 was a great tragedy for personal freedom in Iran, but how else could they have maintained political and economic freedom as a country? I think that if if we left Iran alone for 50 years, we wouldn't see nukes in our capitals, but we would probably see the people back in power, instead of the religious nuts. Probably even more benefitting for world peace, would be for the US to abolish their religious right and forbid them any political influence!
