Hellllp! I have been out of programming for a few(?) years and I am trying to write a fully interactive starfield (exempl gratis Elite!) Anyone know where I can find some useful code? Thanks from an Oldtimer ;-)

What do you mean "fully interactive"? What level of interactivity do you desire?

a simple start could be using particles for stars....... [bad statement..he he...]
Just spread them wide, and replace them when they are out of the camera angle.....
Simple and it looks kinda cool to......
