so, did nvidia buy that physx company?
Typing "physx" into google brings up the wikipedia page, which answers the question on the first line:
PhysX is a proprietary realtime physics engine middleware SDK developed by Ageia (which itself was acquired by Nvidia in February 2008[1]) with the purchase of ETH Zurich spin-off NovodeX in 2004.

Originally it was called NovodeX, then it was bought by Agea and renamed to PhysX, and then it was bought by nVidia
