I'm in Montreal on business through Friday. I know we have some Canucks on this forum... any suggestions of awesome things to see or do in the evenings? Or favorite restaurants?

I went there with my wife last summer. Mostly we did the sight seeing sort of stuff that you see on any tourist map. We took public transit or walked just about everywhere and I found getting to where we were going as much fun as the destinations (sometimes more so). We kept going back to the Old Montreal area. It had a number of shops, restaurants, and pubs although I didn't see anything on the order of like a night club. The only casino that we were able to find was ok but somewhat in the middle of nowhere (even though it was still downtown). Over all, if you're in the downtown area you'll find eventually something interesting.
