You don't need "loading screen" for another instance. It is the other way round, you make instances to split your game world into spearate entities that load faster. Nothing prohibits you from loading all/most/several instances at once (or even better decide how many instances preload based on available memory).
Technicly, instances are better since these give you more flexibility as a programmer.
