Hi.

I want to properly rig some detailed character models in blender and i need a good resource to learn from.

Im familiar with blender and i know how to rig a model. I need help with the finer points. I especialy need help with adjusting vertex weights efficiently. When i google for information on this i tend to get a 100 tutorials that explain the very basics but not 1 that goes beyond that.

Any pointers to good resources appreciated!

The problem is, that once you have mastered the basics, the issues are too diverse and the solutions are too special. The best bet is to start rigging/weight painting and ask questions in forums when you encounter an issue you are not able to solve yourself. Every artist has his/her own way to approach certain issues, most tutorials wouldn't fit your style, so a tutorial is only the first step to push you in the right direction, after that you need to study and experiement on your own :D
