I have written a flexible Terrain-Enginge. Now i am looking for good Textures and Heightdata to render real world terrains. Does anybody know where i can get this Heightdata or good looking textures (or satelliteimages) of a country or an island? The textures or images should be very detailed and should show the view of bird who is wide above the terrain. Perhaps anybody knows a source who i can get such images or heightdata.
