Earphones/headphones?
I've gone through four pairs of earphones of three different makers, and now that I just lost my last pair, I wanted to know what a good pair of earphones are for running, and general heavy use. I'm not too tight on budget, but anything above $100 would be a bit too high. Any reccommendations?

For earbuds I use Shure SE115's. They are pretty awesome. I also heard the Bose ie2's are good but I've never tried them.
For headphones I like the Bose AE2's. They are a little over $100 but they sound amazing. (If you fly a lot, I would just sack up and get the QuietComfort's because they work so well).
You pay a little more for the name but they work, and they are crafted well.
Yea, I tried the bose in ear phones, and those were the first two ear phones that broke down on me.... I might give their headphones a try, cause in general, head phones seem more durable..

I've been using a pair of Klipsch earbuds for a few years now that sound phenomenal. I think they were $70-80USD.
I plug them into my laptop at coffee shops and such, so I can't vouch for them holding up to wearing during sports / exercise, though.

I absolutely swear by my Sennheisers. I don't wear ear buds though, they give me a headache almost instantly, but I have purchased my 3rd pair of sennheiser headphones ( having a rabbit as a pet has some serious headphone cord risks attached! ) and I would gladly purchase a 4th.
In between I had a pair of moderately expensive Sony wireless headphones and they were hands down the worst headphones I have ever purchased. I have never been expecially impressed by BOSE, always seemed you paid a lot for a little, although the last time I was in BestBuy, I tried the 300$ Bose noise cancelling headphones and it was freaking amazing. It was quite literally like the rest of the world disappeared. In some ways, they were almost dangerous, as I don't know if I would for example hear a fire alarm with them on!

Alright, I have a pretty good idea of what set of earphones I should buy....thanks all for the suggestions!

Not enough information.
On my desk right now I've got three sets: a $5 Radio Shack special, a pair of wonderful $80 noise-isolating earbuds, and a very expensive bulky studio-quality headphones.
When I just need to slip them on or off the cheap headphones are the answer. The foam shredded years ago, but if I just want to hear sound then they're the easiest. They are simple, lightweight, have a convenient volume slider, and otherwise produce sound.
The studio headset is excellent for hearing what I need to, but I usually don't need them. They sound perfect but make my ears sweaty.
The earbuds are good as they are foam earplugs against all the other noises and can be clear despite setting to low volume. But they are a pain to remove and sometimes a foam piece snaps off in my ear.
I recommend all three. ;-)

SteelSeries 7H- It fakes surround sound better than surround sound headphones I've used in the past. Very comfy, very good reviews, all around probably the best headphones I've bought. These things plus Bad Company 2? HO HO HO GOOD TIMES!
I picked up mind for $120CA. The only gripe I have is the USB cord has a material on it that rubs against everything and sends a horrible grinding noise up into the ear pieces. Bloody annoying. Unfortunately the only ones they had in stock when I got mine were the USB version, even though my sound card supports surround sound =/
