Hello, I am not sure if this is where I should be posting this but I have opened issue's and asked other admins to answer this and never get a reply with the exception of Gaiiden who couldn't seem to figure out the problem(He was able to upload a file as me but the file downloaded as gibberish). Basically I am not able to upload any kind of file to this website; whether it is my journal or my gallery. I always get this error; "You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file type", using either of the loaders.

Does anyone else get this error or can someone explain to me why I get this. I have asked if it is because I am not a GDNet+ member but no one can seem to figure it out. I have tried using both of the uploaders, in IE 7, 8 and several Firefox versions to no avail. Any help would be massively appreciated.

Wow no one else has this problem eh? Maybe my account got corrupted on the migraition? If I create a new account is there a way to merge everything from this account to that account or would I have to redo everything?

I've had issues with the flash-based uploader, but not the issue you describe. I just use the plain old web-request attach tool and it works for me.

Unfortunately I am unable to use either of the uploader's the site offers, both return this permission error.

we've had other weird permission problems - like Oli can't even post stuff sometimes. No idea why still

Yeah I know other people are having permission problems and some even have the same problem as me. When the commujnity weekend competition was running there was at least one other person who wasn't able to upload files with any extension except .txt (in a post). I can upload files as .txt in the forums but not in the my profile stuff.

I went back through our old conversation Gaiiden and saw that you said I will need to wait for Mike to solve this so I have sent him an email and message here. Hopefully it gets looked into shortly.
