I won it after 8 hours and I enjoyed it even more than I thought I would. However, I have a few questions about the story.
After portal 1 how did you end up in stasis?
Why did the robot who was helping you suddenly become evil?
Also why was he trying to escape in the first place?
Portal 2

You aren't a he in portal.
The reason she was in stasis after the story of Portal can be found in this nice comic.
Just started "The fall" chapter, but unfortunately I have to put it down for a while for work.

Go back and play Portal 1 again to the end. You'll notice something strange happening to you at the very end. (They changed the ending slightly to tie it into the new development, so you may have missed it if you haven't played till the end since Portal 1 was first released.)
He didn't become evil. He stayed stupid, and just got more power.
Would you stay in a place like that?

Excellent use of spoiler tags to compensate for your vague title within hours of the games release. Hey, wait a minute...

Oh I see! It's like a robot is dragging you back into the enrichment center.
After portal 1 how did you end up in stasis?

As mentioned before, replay Portal 1 to see the extended ending
Why did the robot who was helping you suddenly become evil?
He was programmed to be an moron (as mentioned by GlaDOS). He was designed to come up with bad ideas. This was compounded by the fact that he suddenly had all the power of the enrichment center at his "fingertips". Absolute power corrupts absolutely. And I think he was genuinely sorry when he was talking to himself at the end.
Also why was he trying to escape in the first place?
I'm guessing this comes back to the fact that he was designed to make bad decisions. That or he just wanted a change of scenery. Remember he was also told he would die if he unhooked from the rail or used his flashlight, both of which he did.
I think the bigger mind trip (as going on in the stream forums is (probably not good for this thread since it could lead to more spoilers if there is a discussion).
Is Chell the daughter or adopted daughter of Cave Johnson and his secretary Caroline?
Did GlaDOS really delete the Caroline personalty?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! I think I saw G-Man but I can't remember which part it was. Wheatley(The robot) was talking about everyone else being dead and you were the only test subject left. Wheatley was already in Glados's body at that part. I saw a human figure on a catwalk but it walked into the door before I could really see it...

I saw something like that as well, but I'm certain the thing I saw was one of the co-op robots. Could that be it?
