Hi Everyone,

I'm new back to GD after a few months and I have found the new Website, which so far I am liking. But I cannot find all the bookmarks I made on my GD profile on the old site, and one cannot log in to the archive.gd... site anymore. Can anyone help me recover those bookmarks, there were quite alot of threads that were incredibly useful to me, and I really dont want to loose them.

I'm in the same boat as you. I bookmarked every thread I ever participated in or found interesting... lots of history there! Unfortunately it's no longer accessible. I'm pretty sure the data is still all there in the old DB, but since we can't allow any log-ins and you need to be logged in to see that data...

Hopefully in time we'll find a way to migrate that data over as Watched Threads in the future - most likely on an as-requested basis. I don't know if that's even possible though and it's not something we've had time to consider at length.

So I feel for you but as of right now can't offer up much encouragement for this :/

Not to sidetrack the thread, but I also seem to be missing the "Notes" section of the profile. I had a lot of random bookmark links in there for useful sites I'd found in posts over the years.

Not sure if it's useful to you, but the member search of the old software still works.
Of course the links are broken, because they don't point to archive.gamedev.net.
