I'm sure that this is probably a dumb question, but since I've recently been missing out on numerous events/seminars lately, I wanted to ask where can I find a list of upcoming events? I did some google searching, but didn't find much except GDC (which I can't make this year) and other events that have already went by. I live in Seattle, so there's usually a few every year, but I never hear about them until it's too late. So, how is everyone keeping up with these things? Thanks.

There's more than one GDC. GDC Austin/Online might be a good alternative for you.

You could also look into the IGDA if there's somethingi n your area.
