Just wondering if anyone else here had seen this video? I watched it, I thought it was great. Then again, I think the president has a good speech writer, and tends to say the right things at the right times. I read alot of the comments that were related to this video, and all of them seem negative. I guess I am asking, am I so naive as to think that what he is asking/searching for is not for a greater good here in the US?

Well for one Obama writes alot of his own stuff. It was this rhetorical ability that got him to where he's at in the first place.

And no, it's not naive to think he's searching for the greater good. Pretty much all of his speeches are for unification, they are about what he calls universal values, etc. It's just that white people don't like him because he's black.

Those kind of speeches always have the trolls shout louder. Never gonna grab the public's attention, it's just idiots spewing their usual inane garbage.

What other reason is there? He's one of the best presidents we've ever had as far as getting things done.

I've never heard a reason better than "He's a mauslem" or "He's an Arab". Even if he was...so WHAT?

He supported writing and passed a significant bill unrelated to the economy in the middle of the biggest economic crisis America has had in the past 70 years.

And he's hardly the best president ever at getting things done. In recent history maybe, but a LOT of presidents have gotten a lot more done. FDR did more in his first term, and followed it up by being POTUS during a world war.
