Jesus the historical figure was Jewish, in Galilee. He was probably Sephardic/Mizrahi (modulo the fact that these terms really postdate him).

He wasn't "white," as in Northern-European. He wasn't "black," as in sub-Saharan-African. Like most people in the world, he was neither. Not that races are even defined in some objective, time-invariant way -- sure, different groups of people tend to have certain genes in common, but it all boils down to a data clustering problem (one that happens to have had all kinds of sociological consequences, both tragic and subtle, throughout history and into the present day... To think something like k-means could start a genocide...)
