Is toon shading possible in GL? I’ve been through endless WebPages in search for an example or tutorial but failed! Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a tutorial, or even an example would be good? Thanks in advance D.

The technique you''re talking about is called Cel Shading just for reference... And here are a couple of really good links I''ve found for not only cel shading, but all Non PhotoRealistic Rendering techniques (NPR).

Quite recently an article about cell shading was released here on gamedev. It may help you.
Pretty neat OpenGL program with source code of cel-shaded Quake 3 model:

http://www.deadpenguin.org/md3_cell_shading.php

The page also has a description of how he achieved the effect.

Jeff Lander also has his articles from his Game Developer articles about cel and other non-realistic rendering techniques on his Darwin3d site:

Hope this helps!
