It seems a game called Dungeons is on pre-sale on Steam.
Release date: Feb 11 (available as of), otherwise apparently Jan 27
Being an old Dungeon Keeper fanboy and having never really found peace with regard to what state the franchise was left in (let's call it "miserable legal IP craphouse ruins", or MLIPCR for short), I feel perfectly fine and justified having lived through a noticeable increase in bodily functionality when I noticed the Steam advert a few minutes ago. I mean, bloody hell - now I no longer see a reason to join that suicide cult in '11.
For those of you playing the home game, here's history for you.
Level 10 Imps: 99
Graves pissed on: 26
So, I just wet myself
Seriously - no one else is psyched about this? Not even a little bit? Aw, just sad.
I never played the original Dungeon Keeper but the idea seems great and I'm tentatively psyched about Dungeons. We'll see how it does when it's released.
I was a big fan of DK2 and was also really excited to see Dungeons. I probably won't preorder it, but it's definitely in my wishlist.
Yeh i saw the game the yesterday, super excited, i likely wont preorder but ill be buying it when it comes out.

can't wait. DK1 was better, more variety. I especially liked the FPS levels, negotiating boulders and what not. Does it have multiplayer? That was always a weak area.
I think £30 is a bit much.

I had a good time with DK1, but just looking at this game I'm not sold on it yet.
I need to see more gameplay before I get excited. The two trailers I've seen so far don't look good enough for me, even as much as I liked the old games.

I'm personally going to give it some time and read some reviews before I purchase it. It's likely Steam will have it on sale within a few months.

I'm waiting for a demo. Reviews are great, but nothing beats a demo.
