In all fairness, very few people want homelessness, in their right mind. Many people have opinions, but reality marches into the future with or without them.
A few years ago in the USA, the unemployment rate here in Michigan was under 5%. A couple years later it almost hit 15%. Most of the poor and middle income people are hard working, talented people who have held jobs in the past. By the way, the middle class in the USA are the actual job creators, making more than 70% of small businesses and new starters. Approximately 1 of 4 billionaires were literally poor and/or school drop-outs at some point in their past. I personally do not define success in these terms, but I give them as examples.
Opportunity is all the difference in the world. Markets are saturated. Most unemployed will return to gainful income by effort and content of character. Many homeless people will not for any of a number of reasons.
Though capitalism, socialism, religions, and other cultures have at times got almost everybody working, they have all failed in the down cycles. In this country some see government as the answer and others see capitalism as the way. Some other countries combine socialism and capitalism with great results. All countries will eventually see hard times which prove all systems as failures at maintaining work opportunities.
Enough people overcame just about any challenge known to humanity that I have to attribute success, even from rags to riches or depression to happiness - you define success, as result mostly of personal character.
The overcoming, success making character may develop in one of many ways, but it must be there for the person to improve greatly.
Opportunity combined with good character is a recipe for almost certain success, yet some people make their own opportunity. For those who will never have the ability to be independent, millions of them out there, where is our compassion and how can we reduce their suffering?

Could a bunch of people just 'start' a new town from scratch?
Personal life and your private thoughts always effect your career. Research is the intellectual backbone of game development and the first order. Version Control is crucial for full management of applications and software. The better the workflow pipeline, then the greater the potential output for a quality game. Completing projects is the last but finest order.
