Anyone notice, using the mthods in the tutorial you do not get a true full screen? For example, I am running ICQ and when the program goes full screen, ICQ still chews up a portion of the screen. Anyone know how to get around this? CodeDragon
If Bill Gates had a nickle for everytime Windows crashed, oh wait, he does...
You have to turn ICQ off before you run the program.

This is common, even commercial games using DX have this problem. If your ICQ is running with the ''on top'' option so it stays on top of everything and you create a window that wants to be on top of everything as well who gets their way? Either set your ICQ to not be on top, or when you run your app click on its portion of the screen and ICQ should dissapear. Also look at the flags you''re using when you create your window, and give your window the focus when it''s created (though the latter wont really do much).
