Hi everyone,

I'm trying to track down a used (or new!) copy of the book "Focus on SDL" including the CD. Amazon has it but only at outrageous prices. Anyone know where else I might look?

Thanks!
Wow, not sure what's going on with the price of that book. Before I moved I traded in a lot of my programming books to Half Priced Books and they gave me around $2 for it!

My guess is just that is it out of print now, which sucks for you :p Honestly though, I have a feeling that everything in that book is available in miscellaneous tutorials around the internet.

Ha ha, yes it does suck. I know much of it is available in other tutorials, but I'm a book reader and learn better from a more succinct source. I've even had a saved eBay search going for a couple weeks now and nothing.
It looks like its not just Focus on SDL, alot of them from the same series are over priced, I remember when I bought some of mines for like 8$ of half.com, I got to stock pile on these and quick before they are all 80$! these were my favorite series
I've got a copy on the shelf behind me, but even if I were to sell it it would cost more than the value of the book to send it halfway around the world.

(I still use the book too. However it is basically just a printed tutorial of how to set everything up and the basics. It's useful when first setting things up with SDL, but you'll need to augment it with online references anyway).

Google books appears to have a copy if you just want to check it out online for now.

I have this book on the shelf right next to me. I bought it off Amazon about 2 years ago for $15 I believe, without the CD though so I am no good. : (
@Kalnos, not a total loss if you'd be willing to sell it to me!

Anyone know where I can "find" a copy of the CD?
