(This is all based on a 2D scene) i have a picture. the dimentions of the picture are: x = 50 y = 24 now i want to draw a circle around the picture. i need the of the circle to be equil to <the length of the center of the rectangle to one of the corners.> Does that make sence? i hope so! any ideas? thanks in advance!
Do you want the radius of the circle to be equal to the distance from the center of the rectangle to a corner? If so:

radius = sqrt( (x/2)^2 + (y/2)^2 )

In other words: good old (sp?) pythagorous
