The concept art looks great!, but the 3d model doesn't look like your concept.
You have some good orthographic drawings there. Try importing them into your 3d package as image planes. One trick I like is to crop a part of the image, (for example, the top-down view on the purple dragon,) to a square. Then texture a square plane with it, adjust the transparency, and put the plane in a separate layer.
Then you just look thru the template and line up the verts. You should be able to match up the geometry exactly to the original art.
