colors and textutes

In an openGL scene I can use colors and then textures if the color is reset to white, but using textures and then colors always results in a black object. Does one of the texture things have to be reset first or something? bigo
Never mind, figured it out. Needed to bind to the default texture (0).

u shouldnt bind to texture 0, i know UT does this but its wrong instead u should just disable the texture ie glDisable( GL_TEXTURE_2D );
