Okay, I am new to programming. I would like to learn c. Is there any good books that start you out at the very beginning. I got a book on C++, my friend said that he liked it. But the writer seems to think I should have a good understanding of c and the basics, so, needless to say, I am alittle lost. Please suggest something for a complete beginner.
