Remote Desktop from Win to a Mac?

So my employer who is a state away has a Mac and I have Windows. He is having a hard time setting some stuff up and so I figured it would be much easier if I could do that for him... remotely. Is there any easy (and free) way of doing remote desktop from my Win on their Mac?

I dont know of any directly "remote desktop" apps since I'm not a mac user.

But, if it is a Unix based OSX Mac, you could always ssh into the Mac from Windows. Get openssh installed on the mac, and run PuTTY on the windows box.
You might also be able to setup cygwin on the windows box, and it would let you x-forward graphical applications from the Mac to your PC.

TeamViewer works on Mac.
If it's a newer Mac, it should have Apple Remote Desktop. You can connect to a mac running that with a VNC viewer, I believe.

No need. Macs come with it preinstalled.

On the Mac:
System Preferences -> Sharing -> Screen Sharing
Set up a password and you are good to go, connect with any windows VNC client.
