I purchased a 3D model from TurboSquid's website of a terrain and I can get it render, but I can't load the textures. When I downloaded it, it was a ZIP with the .FBX (or .X) and a folder of textures. However opening the FBX in Visual Studio or trying to compile the resource I've found the texture location is something goofy like:
C:\BobsPC\MyModels\MadeFor\TurboSquid\Textures
Does anyone know a program I can use to change this location? I've tried opening it in 3DSM and Visual Studio although 3DSM I can't find any reference to texture locations, and editing the actual file in anything else seems to make it a corrupt model.
I've been stuck on a demo I'm working on for darn near 3-4 days. I've been unsuccessfully searching Google in the mean time trying to determine a solution.
I've heard there's a way to open FBX or models in ASCII and edit them but I haven't been able to find anything online.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
EDIT:
Mods, I've been able to fix this problem, close or delete if possible. Issue was the model provided included multiple textures so the original creator didn't apply any of the textures, leaving it to me to apply them.
