The more I realise I have still to learn.

I feel closer but then the musical universe seems to expand again.

Does this ever end?

Very true comments! Most of the time I find it very refreshing to think about how much I still have to learn and develop. It would be so boring if you could master every aspect of a given discipline in a (relatively) short period of time.
