I need people I can just add to MSN (or YM, AIM, etc if needed) and ask random questions when there's something I don't get. I've always learned better by jumping into something with all the advanced options already available, so I'm looking for experienced and skilled C++ game programmers. I'm not offering any money but I'm really just looking to bug you occasionally when I'm really stuck.
add me if you don't mind having me bug you once in a while.

Need Experienced C++ Tutors
Moving to the lounge.
You could try joining the IRC channel (#gamedev on irc.afternet.org) and ask questions there when you need.

There are infinitely more people willing to answer your questions here, and I can guarantee that precisely the kind of people whose advice and opinions are most worth having won't be making themselves available on IM for you.
The other advantage of using the forums is that you get a mix of answers. This can be a disadvantage, as programmers will rarely all converge on a single solution to any problem, but it is good to see the problem approached from different angles, and you will be able to pick the best answers.
