I was the "Single screen, simultaneous, yadda yadda" write-in vote, and was surprised that this wasn't an option. Stuff like Double Dragon beat-em-ups, Gauntlet, the Lego film based games and so on are my favourite.

Yeah, all the "Other" responses are that. I apparently left out every multi-player dungeon crawler in existance (Marval Ultimate Alliance, Dark Alliance 2, etc...) by forgetting that category, including one of my favorite coop games, Shadowgrounds (3rd person shooter).
