Hey. I have two questions regarding rigging in blender (Still new to rigging and animation). 1. How can I in an existing armature create a new bone and make this bone the "top level" bone. In other words i want the existing "top level" bone to become the new bones child. (Hope that makes sence) 2. How can i hide a bone... big bones sometimes block my vision when im trying to work with smaller bones or other smaller detail. Thnx in Advance!
1. Add the new bone (Space -> add -> bone) and give it a sensible name. Select your old "top level" bone. In the "Armature Bones" window there should be a drop-down list named "child of". Select your new bone to make the old "top level" bone a child of the new bone.

2. Press H to hide things. Alt H reverses the effect.

Hope this helps.

Thnx a lot. Thats what i wanted to know. I thought that the only way to add new bones to an armature was to extrude existing ones :P. didnt know i could just add a new bone to it with (Space -> add -> bone).
