I keep seeing an Intel ad on this site that shows an animated blue ogre thing. Now I remember that ogre from some company's vaporware game advertisement where they claimed they were bringing movie CG to the game world. But for the life of me, I can't remember the name of it? (and I can't find it on the intel site either :( ) Anyone venture a guess? Here is where it linked. Same ogre here too!

Yeah, it definitely looks like Project Offset to me.

The team that had been developing the game independantly was bought up by intel as they had some pretty good multicore gaming technologies in place, from what I recall.

Certainly its been a long time since that occured, however I do recall them putting out at least one subsequent video quite a ways after the aquisition, which at least gives the hope that they'll complete the game, and haven't just been folded into intel and told to crank out technology.
