Ideas for a game development community that makes games

Let's say I were to make a game development community site that would focus on putting out actual game content (versus just discussion about game development). What kind of features would you guys want to see? Do any similar sites already exist? I guess it would sort of be like a DeviantArt for games. A developer could upload a game and then others could play it. There could be pages for in-progress games. Artists/programmers/musicians/designers/writers could also showcase their work; they could collaborate to make games. It wouldn't be entirely focused on just playing games, like many Flash portals do; it would be focused on developers and the development community, and the actual content that they put out. Would this kind of site be appealing to you? What kind of features would you want to see?

I know that. He said if there was a kongregate for XNA he'd be all over it, but XNA already has most of kongregates features as far as I can tell. That's what I'm confused about.

Well, XNA and Kongregate are really different things. Kongregate is a Flash game portal. XNA is a development framework.
There could be a site like Kongregate (a game portal) that distributes XNA games.

I was thinking more like embedded XNA. GGE already works well for hosting, but Kong is cool because there's achievements/high scores that tie into your profile.
