Recommend a NDA agreement
Hello!
Im about to start working on a game together with a gentleman living in China. Basically he will function as a Concept Artist and Game Designer. And before i send him all the game documents we will sign a NDA agreement.
I looked at a few NDA agreements through google which I didn't really like.
Could anyone here recommend a NDA agreement for this purpose?
Best Regards,
Hansen
Do you mean give you an actual NDA and show you an example?
Or, do you mean tell you what should go in a NDA?
In any case, if you've looked at other NDAs, you can probably come up with your own. Just pick apart the pieces that you like and add them to your own.
Don't forget to add in a part that says that the contract can be changed.

You really do need a lawyer to draw up any kind of contract.
If you can't afford a lawyer to draw up an NDA for you to begin with, then you won't be able afford a lawyer when it comes time to enforce the NDA - and NDA (in fact, any kind of contract) is only as good as your ability to enforce it. You don't want to get people to sign an NDA that, when the critical time comes, your lawyer tells you it's not worth the piece of paper it's written on.

An agreement that is valid in one place can be invalid in another. Your lawyer will need to verify that the agreement is legal both in your country and in their country.
Legal agreements are only valuable if they are valid and if you have the ability to enforce them. One of the big reasons against offshoring work is the difficulties of enforcing contracts with those in other countries.
Business lawyers are your friend. Paying for a good lawyer's time is much cheaper than the expense of a bad deal.
