Hi everyone, Game Dev, has been extremely helpful to me in previous research studies that I have conducted, and here I am once again. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role that anger plays in video games. You can access the survey here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QW29X7J Thank you for your participation!
I must be old, I thought it was going to ask stuff like how many controllers you've broken or thrown at the screen. Instead it's more about multi-player online games.

Throw controllers? Since when was that possible?

Clearly the Wii is the greatest offender! Imagine-- you can KILL your family with your controller!

Look out Doom! Here comes the Wii!

Ive never been particularly angry while developing a game.

Seeing there's no way to know the race of people you play games with on the internet, how do you expect people to answer this except from their own xenophobic bias?
I'd think that culture would be a more interesting question, e.g. are Yanks more angry than Pommies? ;P
Also, since when is Mexican a race? I thought it was a country largely populated by mixed European/American blood lines?

Id suggest if you're going to give people the option to answer "Never" to question four on how often they encounter angry gamers, you may want to include an "N/A" choice for the next 4 questions about the angry gamers that people encounter...

Personally I feel anger much more often at the interface or a stupid design element than I do at players, and my reaction is mostly real-world (eg swearing, ranting at the screen, etc) regardless of the cause, so most of the questions I cant really answer.
Hello everyone,

I really appreciate the criticisms, I will be sure to include them in my limitations and discussion section. If you have any other ones, feel free to let me know.

Again, thank you so much for your participation, while I cannot offer you money, I am really grateful for your effort.

Hey Caffiene,

It took me a little while to understand your point. That's a very good point. I'll be sure to include in my study. Thanks for the feedback!
