I wasn't quite sure how to interpret the question. I voted no, because I don't have a Facebook or twitter account, so I would never see it anyway. But I'm not against it per se, it might be useful to others.

I voted no, because I already get enough spam on Facebook as it is. Facebook should be a social network, not an advertisement network.
I like to know what's happening in here, but not via Facebook :)

I'm not using twitter, so I don't know if it would be a good idea to post notifications there.
